Totem Poles

Built from the stumps of two Norfolk Island Pines damaged in November 2011, the totems immortalise native animals in steel.

The trees are believed to have been planted in the 1950s by Dr Wilson of Margaret River.

The owl sculpture is for “Swoop” who used to perch in the Norfolk Pine before the fire. The osprey and fish are dedicated to local birds of prey that brought their catch back to the trees and enjoyed the elevated lookout the pines offered.
