Water in the Environment

Water in the Environment

Location
Margaret River Main Street
Year:
2013
Funded by:
Royalties for Regions Super Town Funding

This sculptural installation represents the movement of water as it flows through the town.

It links the water in the streetscape with the rain garden, which purifies the water before entering the river.

It is encapsulated in textural and colour changes within the paving. Sourcing stone from Boodjidup River, near Margaret River’s first gold mine, see if you can spot it in the footpath.
