Augusta

The Augusta Street Art Trail is coming soon! Known for its nostalgic charm, Augusta is your last chance to enjoy some art before Antarctica. There’s a distinct maritime theme to the art here, as Augusta is where two oceans meet and the southwest’s longest river meets the sea. It’s also home to the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia, a newish marina and an abalone farm. Southern right whales birth their calves in Flinders Bay, inspiring artworks of the magnificent mammals along Augusta’s main street and rustic laneways. This coastal paradise is a haven for salty-hair, and those that like to live on the wild side. Enjoy the colour, creativity and sense of community while strolling the streets of Augusta and stay tuned for the launch of the trail.
